I am passionate about living life to the fullest and empowering others to do the same through the practices of yoga, meditation, and mental health advocacy. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Master’s program in Mental Health Counseling, I bring a strong clinical foundation to my work with individuals and groups.
I have advanced training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and a wide range of mindfulness practices, and have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, age groups, and presenting concerns. My work spans individual therapy, couples counseling, groups, corporate wellness programs, sports team trainings, and leading transformational workshops as well as international yoga and meditation retreats.
Named “Best Yoga Teacher” on the Main Line, I am also the founder of Dan’s Down Dog and Dash, a local yoga-and-run event that operated in Wayne for 10 years and raised funds for families affected by cancer. This event was been recognized by Philadelphia Magazine as one of the top 10 things to do in Philly.
My yoga journey began in my early 20s after a back injury led a physical therapist to recommend yoga. After my first class, I never looked back. I am a 500-hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) and have completed an intensive two-year Meditation Teacher Training with Scott and Nancy McBride of the Clearlight Meditation Institute, where I am now a faculty member.
I also work as a Program Facilitator with Minding Your Mind, bringing mindfulness education into schools and workplaces to promote mental well-being and emotional resilience.
